By accessing or using Tally (“the Service”), operated by Carolyn Hsu (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Tally is a personal shopping management tool that helps you track purchases, manage returns, verify refunds, and analyze spending. The Service may connect to third-party services including Google Gmail, Teller, and SimpleFIN to import transaction data on your behalf.

3. Account & Authentication

You must sign in with a Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree not to share your access or allow unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service’s infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service

5. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers (Google, Teller, SimpleFIN) to access your email and financial data. Your use of these integrations is also subject to the respective third-party terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

6. Data & Content

You retain ownership of all data you provide to the Service. We do not claim any ownership rights over your purchase records, transaction data, or other personal content. You are responsible for the accuracy of data you manually enter.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that financial data will be completely accurate. The Service is not a substitute for professional financial advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to missed return deadlines, inaccurate refund tracking, or financial losses.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
